While the Telangana leaders are confidently stating that Telangana would be a reality, the Seemandhra leaders are also stating with equal confidence that the state would never be divided.
As the recent core committee meeting has handed over the task of deciding on the Telangana issue to the Congress Working Committee, everyone has been looking forward to the meeting. The heavy movement of central forces in the meantime to several places in the Seemandhra region including Guntur and Vijayawada has caused doubts that there would soon be an announcement on Telangana. However the district authorities are not saying anything about the movement of the forces.
It is being said in the political circles that the CWC would be meeting next week and the union government took the precautionary measure of moving the central forces incase the decision would be in favour of Telangana. The government expects agitations in the Seemandhra region if Telangana was announced.
