For four years, they slept with the BJP and finally realizing that the BJP will not release any funds which will enable them to earn big size, the TDP understanding that the people of Andhra Pradesh were furious quit the central cabinet and subsequently, the NDA.
The TDP MPs who were going for a protest at the residence of none other than Prime Minister Modi were detained and shifted to police stations. But the intention of the TDP is clear! To project themselves as being at the forefront of the struggle for SCS to AP.
However, nothing could be further from the truth! If we look back over the four years of TDP rule, it was Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh who asked, “Is SCS a Sanjeevini that would automatically eradicate the State’s problems overnight?”
Later, when the Centre announced a special package instead of the SCS, the TDP leaders said, “Special Package offers far more than the SCS and we thank the Centre.”
Chandrababu Naidu went to the extent of stating that anybody who demanded SCS would be jailed. Now, it’s a different scenario.The TDP says that nothing short of SCS would suffice for the State. How do they expect the people to trust them after changing their stance so frequently?
When they could not get anything for the State by being friends with the BJP, how do they expect the people to believe that they will secure SCS, now by fighting with the Centre?Besides, shouldn’t the TDP be demanding a ‘special package’ rather than SCS, since the former offers more?
Chandrababu Naidu seems to have completely lost it and his frequent U-turns and politics of opportunism are confusing the people of Andhra Pradesh, more than Pawan Kalyan’s tweets.
