Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy to Attend WEF 2026 Summit

The annual World Economic Forum (WEF) summit in Davos, Switzerland, has consistently seen the participation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who has used the platform to attract global investments to the state. Over the years, his presence at the summit has helped put Andhra Pradesh on the international investment map.

What began as a personal effort has now evolved into a larger trend, with several Indian states and the central government sending official delegations to Davos every year.

For the 2026 edition of the WEF summit in January, Chandrababu Naidu will once again attend, accompanied by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s successor, Revanth Reddy. In total, eight Indian chief ministers are expected to participate, including the leaders of both Telugu states.

At the previous 2025 summit, both Chandrababu and Revanth attended, but their approaches differed. Chandrababu focused on strategic discussions and long-term investment commitments, many of which later translated into concrete business deals. Revanth, in contrast, signed several MoUs on the spot, adopting a more immediate approach.

At Davos 2026, both leaders are expected to once again push for top global investments, aiming to attract major companies to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, reinforcing their states as hubs for business and economic growth.
