
The Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy respectively, have successfully concluded their visits to Switzerland after participating in the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in Davos.
Chandrababu has already begun his journey back to India and is set to resume official duties in Amaravati at 11:30 AM. During his four-day Davos trip, he attended over 36 programmes, meeting with representatives from Israel, UAE, and Switzerland. At the WEF venue, he interacted with 16 leading industrialists, including Lakshmi Mittal (ArcelorMittal), Thomas Kurian (Google Cloud), and Arvind Krishna (IBM). Chandrababu highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s progress in green energy, artificial intelligence, agriculture, and tourism, while also engaging with the Telugu diaspora in Europe during the Telugu Diaspora programme.
Meanwhile, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy successfully showcased the state’s Telangana Rising 2047 Vision to the global audience. During his three-day visit, he secured investments in Global Capability Centres, Data Centres, Clean and Green Energy, and Manufacturing sectors. Multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability, and other strategic sectors. Revanth is expected to return to Hyderabad early tomorrow to resume his official duties.
Both leaders leveraged the WEF platform to strengthen global investment ties and promote the economic potential of their respective states.
