Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has always placed immense importance on the Godavari Pushkaralu, aiming to conduct it in the most grand and efficient manner possible. With the next Pushkaralu scheduled from June 26 to July 7, 2027, the CM has already begun preparations nearly a year and a half in advance.

Naidu recently met with officials to review plans and offered several suggestions to ensure the event matches the scale and organization of the Kumbh Mela, one of India’s largest religious gatherings.

As part of the preparations, plans are being made to develop 373 bathing ghats along a stretch of 9,918 metres, including 234 existing ghats and 139 new ones. To manage the massive influx of devotees, the CM emphasized the use of AI-based crowd management and traffic diversion systems. He also directed officials to approach the central government well in advance to secure the necessary funds.

With these preparations, Andhra Pradesh is set to host one of the biggest cultural events in the country, which is expected to have significant economic and financial benefits in addition to its spiritual significance.
