Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has highlighted the state as one of India’s top investment destinations during his visit to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. On Day 2, he invited global industrialists to explore Andhra Pradesh and witness the opportunities firsthand.
Speaking at a special breakfast session on “The Andhra Pradesh Advantage,” organized by CII, Naidu emphasized the state’s supportive business environment, efficient policies, and speed of execution. “Investors should observe Andhra Pradesh’s governance and ease of doing business before making decisions,” he said, noting that the state is emerging as a major market and preferred choice for investors.
Naidu outlined India’s goal of becoming a global power by 2047 and positioned Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of this journey. He highlighted that the state has attracted a significant share of foreign investments and identified key growth sectors, including green energy, technology, fuel alternatives, digital infrastructure, logistics, and manufacturing.
The Chief Minister also spoke about major initiatives such as green ammonia projects, large-scale technology investments, space infrastructure development, ports, airports, and improved highway connectivity, all aimed at supporting long-term industrial growth. He stressed that attending WEF allows him to learn from global experts and better design policies to make the state more business-friendly, citing India’s young workforce and leadership as key advantages.
Senior national and international industry leaders attended the session, and Naidu personally interacted with several industrialists, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s message as a welcoming and investment-ready state. With a strong focus on technology, infrastructure, and policy support, the state is positioning itself as a premier destination for global investments.
