It has been nearly 16 months since the NDA government took charge in Andhra Pradesh, and the state is showing signs of renewed promise, particularly in terms of investment opportunities and governance.

This positive momentum is reflected in the rising public approval of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. According to the latest rankings by India Today, which evaluates the best-performing chief ministers in India, Chandrababu has secured the third position in the country.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tops the list, followed by West Bengal’s Mamata Banerjee at number two, with Chandrababu in third. This is a notable improvement from August of last year when he was ranked fifth, indicating growing public confidence in his administration.

Several flagship programs, such as free RTC travel for women and pensions for differently-abled citizens, have contributed to this enhanced public perception. The recognition suggests that Chandrababu’s policies and governance initiatives are resonating effectively with the people of Andhra Pradesh.
