Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, extended his Sankranti wishes to the Telugu people, sharing the personal reason behind his annual visit to his hometown for the festival. He explained that Sankranti holds significant importance for the Telugu community, and it is a time best spent with close friends and family at one’s hometown.
Chandrababu emphasized the importance of strengthening human connections through personal meetings during this festive season. He also credited his wife, Bhuvaneshwari, for encouraging him to make it a tradition to visit his hometown, NaravariPalle, every Sankranti. According to him, she believed that spending the festival in their hometown would foster local bonding and a sense of unity. This practice, which began 25 years ago, has become a meaningful part of his life.
Having faced numerous challenges during the past five years of Jagan’s tenure, Chandrababu is returning to NaravariPalle as Chief Minister for the first time since 2019, marking the occasion as especially significant.
