Jagan proclaimed that defeating Chandrababu in this election would leave the TDP powerless for the next 30 years. Even while in prison, Chandrababu Naidu continued to steer the party with his signature strategic vision. His leadership from behind bars galvanized the party, with crucial support from Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena, which gave the TDP the much-needed boost. As the elections drew closer, the party’s fortunes shifted, thanks to the backing of NRIs, the media, and the public. Together, they rallied behind Chandrababu, with hopes of restoring him as the Chief Minister.

On June 12, 2024, Chandrababu took office as Chief Minister and immediately set to work on key issues such as pension hikes, LPG subsidies, and the development of Amaravati as the capital. He also became an outspoken critic of the ineffective policies of the ruling YSR Congress.
Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership was evident through his actions—releasing white papers on governance and exposing the failures of the YSR Congress. By taking decisive steps to address public concerns and challenge the opposition, he reaffirmed his role as a dynamic leader.
