Political power is an ever-changing force, shaping public perception and influence. Recognizing this, Indian Express, one of India’s leading publications, has compiled its latest list of the Most Influential Indians, ranking key leaders based on their impact on governance and society.
As expected, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tops the list, followed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in second place and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in third.
Notably, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has secured the 14th position, making him one of the highest-ranked Chief Ministers in the country after Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has climbed to the 28th position, improving from 39th place last year.
In a striking observation, former AP and Telangana Chief Ministers, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and KCR, who once held absolute power in their respective states, are absent from the list. Their exclusion signals a significant decline in their influence following their electoral setbacks.
This ranking serves as a testament to the shifting power dynamics in Indian politics, reflecting how leadership, governance, and public perception evolve over time.
