If reports are to be believed, more trouble is in offing for the Arvind Kerjiwal government in Delhi. Delhi police are contemplating to file a chargesheet against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and 21 MLAs in various cases. Reports have it that Delhi police will be filing 25 cases in the chargesheet and out of them Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been named in six cases.
Already fighting an image battle with one minister accused of domestic violence and another one for holding fake degrees. Although cases against Kejriwal are political, charges against others also include serious offences like molestation, storing liquor bottle in premises, etc.
With the reports of charge-sheet emerging, AAP leader Ashutosh claimed that the chargesheet is being filed to divert the attention of people from the Sushma Swaraj-Lalit Modi. It’s alleged that Sushma Swaraj went out of her way to get Modi’s travel documents from the British government since his passport had been revoked by the Indian government for his alleged violation of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
“To divert attention from Sushma, story of 21 AAP MLAs to be arrested, is planted by MODI GOVT. Gullible TV channels are gleefully running. Haha,” he tweeted. Also mocking the reports, he added, “My name is missing in the list of people to be arrested by Delhi police.Many cases Ag me also.Feeling left out and unimportant.”
