Dune 3 IMAX Advance Bookings Spark Massive Global Buzz
One of the most successful modern sci-fi franchises in world cinema, Dune continues to grow in scale and global popularity with every instalment.
The third chapter, titled Dune: Part Three, is currently scheduled for release on December 18 this year, with around eight months still to go before it hits theatres.
Despite the long wait, the film is already generating massive buzz. Select IMAX screens across the world opened advance bookings recently, and tickets were reportedly sold out within minutes, highlighting the franchise’s strong global demand.
Interestingly, some of these early tickets have now surfaced on resale platforms like eBay, with one listing reportedly fetching as high as $999 (around ₹90,000). This has further amplified discussions around the film’s extraordinary anticipation levels.
The overwhelming response clearly reflects the growing fanbase for the franchise, which continues to expand its reach across international markets, including India.
Given its strong following in India as well, Dune: Part Three is expected to register impressive box office numbers when it releases later this year.
