Seeking 5 minutes of appointment to discuss about hopes and aspirations of people of Andhra Pradesh, Congress Rajyasabha members wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is coming for Amaravathi inauguration today. Congress MP JD Seelam stated that, he along with his colleagues Chiranjeevi, KVP Ramachandra Rao, T Subbirami Reddy and Jairam Ramesh wrote the letter to Modi.
“If the pledges included in AP Reorganization Act and the resolution passed by UPA Cabinet on special status of the state are implemented, then a strong foundation will be formed for all the districts in AP. During your tour to Tirupathi and Visakhapatnam, you (Modi) assured to get done these oaths.
On the occasion of Amaravathi inauguration, we are hoping an announcement on special status and special package to state from you,” said the Rajyasabha members in their letter. It is not yet known whether Modi will give time for Chiranjeevi & Co or not.
Interim, Modi will come to the inauguration spot in a special helipad. He will perform pooja for 15 minutes. Only 15 members will share the main inauguration stage along with Modi and CM Chandrababu Naidu. Senior actor Sai Kumar is expected to host the ceremony. Various traditional and entertaining programs are to be performed.
