“Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara Set for September Release Amid Post-Production Delays”

Whispers around temple bells may soon be accompanied by the song of a megastar. That’s the buzz surrounding Vishwambhara, as its release continues to shift gears. Initially slated for a Sankranthi 2025 release, the film was later aiming for a May launch, but now, September 25 is being floated as a new potential release date. While an official announcement is still awaited, the growing chatter online has sparked renewed excitement among Chiranjeevi’s fans.

The primary reason for the repeated delays has been post-production issues, especially with the VFX. Earlier teasers of the film faced criticism for their visual quality, leading the team to revisit and rework key scenes with extra attention to detail. In a heartwarming gesture, the makers have also gifted the devotional track Rama Rama from the film to priests across temples in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, encouraging its daily play in both spiritual spaces and homes.

Trisha plays the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi, while Kunal Kapoor takes on the role of the antagonist. The musical score is composed by MM Keeravani, who has recently enjoyed global acclaim. As the team works tirelessly behind the scenes, fans are eagerly awaiting an official update, ideally in the form of a formal announcement.

While Vishwambhara brews, Chiranjeevi’s next film with Anil Ravipudi is already in the works, with Nayanthara and Jyothika reportedly in talks for roles. Additionally, his iconic film Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari is set to re-release on May 9th, ensuring that the megastar’s presence continues to shine through, despite the delays.
