Megastar Chiranjeevi is now taking a break from the shooting of ‘Acharya’ due to the second wave of Coronavirus. Prior to that, he was working on this film at a rapid speed. Chiru and Koratala planned to release ‘Acharya’ in May and they were doing all they can before the filming was forced to stop. After ‘Acharya’, Megastar lined up the ‘Lucifer’ remake and the ‘Vedhalam’ remake.
While Meher Ramesh is remaking ‘Vedhalam’, it seems like no director is able to satisfy Megastar for the ‘Lucifer’ remake. The first director to come on board for this remake was ‘Saaho’ fame Sujeeth but he was replaced by VV Vinayak. After working on the script for a long time, Vinayak moved on with Bellamkonda Srinivas’ ‘Chatrapathi’ Hindi remake. It was Mohan Raja who was roped in for this remake. Known for remaking films like ‘Kick’, ‘Bommarillu’, ‘Jayam’, ‘Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana’ and others, many thought that he will be satisfying Megastar with suitable changes.
But talk in tinsel town is that even Mohan Raja is unable to impress Megastar with his modifications to the ‘Lucifer’ script. According to the reports, Chiru is looking at other directors who are capable of handling this remake. It is to be seen if this news has anything to believe or not.
