Baaghi 4 Trailer Sparks Outrage Over Extreme Violence
After watching this trailer, one might wonder — can humans really be this cruel? This isn’t just intense; it’s ten times more violent than Animal, and makes films like Kill and Marco look tame in comparison. It feels like a grim tribute to a world that has forgotten humanity.
Tiger Shroff, who has been desperate for a true blockbuster for a long time, has struggled to make a strong mark in Bollywood recently. With creators in Hindi cinema failing to deliver the right material, he turned to the South, collaborating with Kannada director Nimm Harsha for Baaghi 4. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film’s very first poster announcing the trailer release made it clear — this was going to be another cruel, bloody action spectacle.
The trailer is soaked in extreme violence: swords, machetes, axes, heavy meat cleavers, iron rods smashed into heads, metal spikes driven through skulls, slicing, stabbing — all amidst streams of blood flooding the screen. The visuals are designed to shock and unsettle.
In recent times, no other movie has showcased such extreme gore. By all appearances, it surpasses Animal in both bloodshed and brutality. Some viewers have even drawn parallels between Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt’s roles here with Ranbir Kapoor (Ranvijay) and Bobby Deol’s (Abrar) characters in Animal. Surprisingly, even the glamorous heroines are shown hacking, killing, and reveling in the bloodshed — a clear sign of how far the film is willing to go.
The bigger question here is not whether such violent people exist in real life, but how filmmakers decided to portray such unrelenting savagery on screen. Critics argue that in the race to rake in big box office numbers, the creators have crossed all limits, presenting visuals that could numb any trace of humanity in audiences. If even a fraction of compassion remains in people, watching something like this might just wipe it out completely.
