Talking to the media here on Wednesday, he dismissed speculations about his going to union minister Chiranjeevi’s house and questioned what was wrong with it. He asked if meant that there was dissident activity in the union minister’s house. He also dismissed reports that he was in the race for the post of the Chief Minister in 2014.
Raghuveera said no one could guess who would be the Chief Minister in 2014 and added that it was not the culture of the party to announce the Chief Ministerial candidate in advance. He said it was the party’s High Command and the Congress MLAs who would decide who the Chief Minister should be.
When asked about the remarks of the endowments minister that Chiranjeevi should be made the Chief Minister, Raghuveera said it was his opinion and there was nothing wrong with expressing his views. He also clarified that he had no intention to go to the parliament. On the possibility of the YSR Congress coming to power, he said they were just dreaming and the dream would never come true. He clarified that he had no differences with anyone in the party.
