CM Chandrababu & DCM Pawan Kalyan Hold Crucial Governance Meeting

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has been sporadically absent from government duties in recent times due to health issues, followed by his Sanatana Dharma Yatra and participation in the Maha Kumbh Mela. His absence even led to him missing the recent cabinet meeting.

However, the gap in his involvement seemingly ended today as Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan engaged in a crucial one-hour-long discussion at the assembly premises following the conclusion of the assembly session.

During this extensive meeting, several key issues were discussed, including the upcoming MLA quota MLC elections and the implementation of major welfare initiatives like Thalliki Vandanam and Annadatha Sukhibhava. Additionally, CM Naidu reportedly assured significant financial support for the Panchayat Raj and Forestry departments—ministries held by Pawan Kalyan—in the recently presented budget. This financial backing was a key point of discussion in today’s meeting, serving as a follow-up to their earlier briefing session during the assembly proceedings.

Today’s discussions hold strategic importance for ensuring the efficient functioning of the government and maintaining seamless coordination within the NDA alliance in Andhra Pradesh. With both leaders aligning on governance priorities, the meeting signals a renewed focus on administrative efficiency and coalition stability.
