Time and again, it feels like she is just a step away from a solid hit, but somehow, luck hasn’t been on her side. This time, she pinned high hopes on Ustaad Bhagat Singh, especially with the backing of Pawan Kalyan. However, the film failed to deliver the much-needed success for her.

Interestingly, her role sparked mixed reactions. Initially, many pointed out the absence of a proper dance number—something fans usually expect from her. But as discussions grew, a section of the audience began appreciating her performance, noting that she managed to impress even without relying on her dancing strengths.

This puts Sreeleela in a rather tricky spot—should she feel happy about the positive feedback on her acting, or disappointed that the film itself didn’t click?

On the brighter side, she continues to maintain her strong screen presence, balancing glamour with a noticeable improvement in her acting skills. Her dancing ability is already a proven asset, making her one of the most energetic performers among the younger generation.

However, consistent success has remained elusive. Last year, films like Robinhood, Junior, and Mass Jathara didn’t significantly boost her career. This year too, Parashakti and Ustaad Bhagat Singh haven’t worked in her favour.
