Sometimes producers and directors tend to go overboard when it comes to creating the release plans for a movie. And sometimes, filmmakers come up with over creative ideas to better the chances of their movies post-release.
If we take the recent case of C/o Surya movie, the film failed to get good reviews as the content narrated by Suseendhran is similar to most of his films. Then, the director and hero Sundeep Kishan decided to chop off romantic track involving Mehrene. They have nearly trimmed the film by 15 minutes. But still, they are unhappy.
In Tamilnadu, the film’s Tamil version is being taken out from theatres now. Director Suseendran is planning to re-edit the film, alter its pace and then release the movie yet again in December. Who would get such a creative idea of re-editing the movie and re-releasing it?
In the olden days, there are instances where films worked well during their second release, but that release happened with a gap. Now that C/o Surya will be in the theatre again just in a month’s gap, will the alteration works in favor?
