CBI on Wednesday filed chargesheet against industrialist Naveen Jindal, ex-coal minister Dasari Narayana Rao, Ex-coal secretary HC Gupta, ex-Jharkhand CM Madhu Koda and 11 others in Amarkonda Murgadangal (Jharkhand) coal block allocation case.
The accused have been charged for alleged offences of criminal conspiracy, cheating among other things under provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.
Five companies, including Jindal Steel and Power Ltd and Jindal Realty Pvt Ltd, have also been named as accused in the CBI chargesheet.
The special CBI court will consider the chargesheet on Thursday.
