Political entry of any other normal person won’t make much news, but the entry of a cinema celebrity will often create ripples. Such talk is quite common around comedian Ali who is looking forward to entering politics from some time.
As Ali belongs to a minority community, surely political parties will be betting on him in a place where the presence of his community is relatively high. During 2014 election, Ali, who was close to Telugudesam Party back then, is said to have asked for a ticket from Guntur. As the party refused to give him, he stayed quiet.
Now, as the picture of him meeting YSR Congress president YS Jagan has emerged other day, rumors are rife that he is going the fan’s way. However, he is said to have met Jagan when they encountered each other at an airport and traveled towards the flight in a bus. there seems to be no political importance to this meet.
All said and done, Ali is keen to contest in 2019, but didn’t have clarity on which party ticket.
