Last year, star comedian Srinivas Reddy turned hero with Geethanjali starring Anjali which was a run away hit. This year, another comedian Satyam Rajesh is becoming hero and that too in Trisha’s upcoming movie. Yes, Rajesh is playing one of the lead roles in a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Nayaki being directed by Goverdhan Reddy aka Govi.
Sushma Raj will be seen opposite Satyam Rajesh in the horror comedy, while Venkatraman romances Trisha. Produced by Raj Kandukuri and Giridhar, Nayaki is said to revolve around the murder of a woman who turns a ghost. The setting of the film will be in the era of 1980s. Nayaki in Telugu and Nayagi in Tamil is expected to release simultaneously by end of January 2016.
Earlier too several comedians like Venu Madhav, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Ali etc have tried their luck as lead actors. Hope, Satyam Rajesh’s life will take new and optimistic turn with Nayaki!
