The coming Sankranthi seem to be turning in to a battle ground. Chiranjeevi with his Prestigious 150th film and Balakrishna with his Landmark 100th film, Gautamiputra eyeing the Sankranthi pie and now Nagarjuna is also entering the fray with his devotional film, Om Namo Venkatesaya. The movie is targeting January 14th 2017 release as Sankranthi Special.
The regular shooting of the movie began last week. The shooting is going on in the temple set erected in Annapurna 7 acres studio while a Raja Durbar set is being erected in the other floor of the studios. The movie will be shot for 40 days in both these sets. The makers have roped in actresses like Pragya Jaiswal, Vimala Raman and Pavani Gangireddy to be seen in important roles in their film.
This is the fourth time collaboration of Nagarjuna and Veteran director Raghavendra Rao for a devotional film. Earlier they have teamed up for the films like Annamayya, Rama Dasu and Shiridi Sai. Keeravani is scoring music for the film. He already finished recording few songs for the film.
