YSR Congress Leaders and Workers on Monday launched a protest against the removal of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s statue at Tirupati TUDA Office.
Bhumana Karunakar Reddy asserted YSR is the first chief minister to contribute a lot to the development of Tirupati TUDA and made it cash rich by allotting funds to the tune of Rs 5,000 crore and 1,400 acres of Government land during his tenure. Declaring the removal of YSR’s photo as devils play, He opined TDP Leaders has stooped to a new low by trying to insult a leader who is still in the hearts of millions of people.
YSR Congress MP Vara Prasad appealed TDP Leaders to treat YSR as a former Chief Minister rather than political leader. He demanded the officials to place YSR’s photo in the same position it used to be till Yesterday.
