Core meet without PM and Chidambaram

Reports suggest that the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and the finance minister Chidambaram might not be able to participate in the all important meeting of the Core Committee which would discuss the Telangana issue on Friday.

Though doubts are being expressed if any decision could be taken in the absence of the two, some senior leaders of the party are of the view that Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi would be present and their decision would be final.
