Dhurandhar Enters ₹1000 Crore Club, Targets All-Time Bollywood Glory

Dhurandhar, the highest-grossing Indian film of the year, continues its extraordinary box-office run with no signs of slowing down even after three weeks in theatres. Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead and directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is rewriting records with every passing day.

After surpassing the lifetime collections of Chhaava and Kantara: Chapter 1 within just three weeks, Dhurandhar claimed the top spot among this year’s biggest grossers. The momentum carried strongly into its fourth weekend, with the film earning an impressive ₹23 crore on its fourth Friday alone. With this surge, Dhurandhar stormed into the elite ₹1000 crore club in just 22 days.

The film has now secured a place among the all-time top ten highest-grossing Indian films worldwide, a remarkable achievement considering the challenges it faced. Dhurandhar did not release in dubbed versions across other Indian languages and was also banned in several Gulf countries, a key overseas market for Bollywood films.

When considering only Hindi-language films, Dhurandhar is now on course to emulate mega blockbusters like Jawan and Pathaan, both of which concluded their theatrical runs at around ₹1100 crore gross. This places the film in strong contention to claim the second-highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time, behind Aamir Khan’s Dangal.

Dangal continues to hold the top position with a worldwide gross of approximately ₹2000 crore, largely driven by its unprecedented success in the Chinese market. While Dhurandhar lacks that advantage, its sustained domestic performance and steady overseas collections remain highly impressive.

Going by current trends, strong weekend occupancy, and the upcoming New Year holiday boost, Dhurandhar is expected to finish its theatrical run at around ₹1200 crore gross, potentially cementing its position just behind Dangal in the all-time Bollywood box-office rankings.
