With each passing day, the novel coronavirus is gathering rapidly in India with an umpteenth number of positive cases each day. The front liners are working day and night to curb the pandemic and lockdown guidelines are being religiously followed by the public. In spite of that, the country has reported 51 deaths just today in a span of 24 hours.
With these mammoth number in India today, the death toll has risen to 335. That is, total COVID-19 positive cases in the country is 9546. Currently, the active cases are 8065. With the world’s largest lockdown and the spiked number of cases, the future is scary and fear-mongering.
As we are uncertain when will pandemic will really end, the unemployment in India is increasing, leaving more than 10 crores jobless. The unprecedented times we are living in shows poor families struggling with their lack of daily wage salaries and the highest number of jobs have been lost in the last two weeks.
