Prime Minister Narendra Modi has penned the foreword for an upcoming book titled, “Beyond The Dreamgirl”, making him perhaps the first active PM to have written introductory words for a book. Guess what prompted him to do this favor for the book? It’s the biography of Hema Malini, one of the female superstars of Indian film industry.
“Beyond the Dreamgirl” is an authorized biography of Hema Malini. It will be launched on October 16, when she turns 69. The launch also marks the celebration of Hema Malini’s 50 years in Indian showbiz. She was recently seen on Telugu silver screen playing the crucial mother character of Balayya in ‘Gauthamiputhra Sathakarni’.
Having started her film career in 1968, Hema Malini won the hearts of Indian movie lovers with her talent, striking performances and evergreen charisma. In the process, she earned the title of “Dreamgirl” and went on to become a superstar in a male-dominated film industry.
