Prabhudeva’s ‘Action Jackson’ got released today across the globe. Just like any other Prabhudeva’s film, critics have started to slam ‘Action Jackson’ as well. Saibal Chatterjee from NDTV said, “Action Jackson, a surefire Golden Kela contender, could give Humshakals a run for its money. Give it a miss”.
Speaking about the film, Sweta Kaushal from Hindustan Times said, “To put it briefly, watch Action Jackson if you are a Prabhudheva or Ajay Devgn fan, because otherwise there isn’t a single dialogue you haven’t heard and this is one of the films where they say ‘Do not take your brains to the theatres’”.
“There’s no redeeming feature in Action Jackson, a film that’s purely self-indulgent. Skip it”, said senior reporter Manjusha Radhakrishnan of Gulf News. Altogether, critics have completely written-off Prabhudeva’s directorial skills and suggested that he should remain as India’s best dancer, which is good for himself and everyone else.
