The nexus between film industry and politics has been age old. And those who entered politics from the cine circuit managed to have their moments of glory and success. Now, it is heard that a rather unusual person is preparing herself to enter into politics, if the situation demands.
She is none other than the bubbly beauty Genelia. Well, the chirpy girl got married to one of the most powerful political families in Maharashtra and her father-in-law Vilasrao Deshmukh is former CM. Recently she was sharing her thoughts when she reportedly mentioned that if her family feels her presence will make a difference, she don’t mind entering politics.
While it is not sure whether the Deshmukhs would want the ladies of their home to enter this dirty field, it is heard that they are okay with Genny continuing her career as an actress. For now, she has ‘Naa Ishtam’ in Telugu and ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ in Hindi with hubby Riteish Deshmukh.
