Director Sukumar is known for his support of talented individuals and his ability to elevate his assistant directors to the next level. However, his recent distance from the film “Dasara” has raised some questions among industry insiders.
While Sukumar has been vocal in his support for other films, such as “Uppena,” in which he played an active role in promotions, he has been notably absent in his support for “Dasara,” directed by Srikanth.
Srikanth had previously worked with Sukumar on “Nannaku Prematho,” and had followed up with him on his new project “Dasara.” However, after participating in the puja program for the film’s launch, Sukumar has not mentioned the film, despite it receiving good reviews.
This lack of support has sparked speculation among industry insiders about Sukumar’s involvement with the project. While it is possible that he is simply busy with his upcoming film “Pushpa 2,” which is currently in production, it is still unclear why he has not given any comment on “Dasara.”
As shooting for “Pushpa” wraps up, it will be interesting to see if Sukumar reconnects with Srikanth and his team to offer his support for their latest project.
