The makers of Rakasa have released the film’s first single, “Rapappa,” marking the start of its musical promotions with a lively and entertaining track. Written and directed by Manasa Sharma, the film is produced by Niharika Konidela under Pink Elephant Pictures and presented by Z Studios.

With its energetic sound and playful tone, “Rapappa” captures the vibrant musical spirit of Rakasa, presenting heartbreak in a refreshingly humorous way. Lyricist Raghuram delivers witty verses filled with clever rhymes and punchlines, while Anudeep Dev’s composition keeps the track lively and catchy. Ram Miriyala’s distinct vocal style adds charm and sarcasm to the song, complemented visually by JD Master’s energetic choreography.

The release of “Rapappa” comes as Rakasa steadily builds anticipation. The film’s title glimpse has already crossed 1.9 million views, and the teaser generated over 2.7 million views in just five days, highlighting audience curiosity for this folklore-driven fantasy and supernatural adventure with humor.

Rakasa will release internationally through Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures, with screenings across more than 350 theatres in the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia. North American distribution is handled by Prathyangira Cinemas. The soundtrack is being released under Saregama, adding momentum to the musical campaign.

Headlined by Sangeeth Sobhan and Nayan Sarika, the film also features Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Getup Srinu. With the teaser generating strong buzz and “Rapappa” creating musical excitement, Rakasa is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on April 3, 2026.
