Kangana Ranaut has always spoken her heart out on various and crucial subjects of the film industry and on its fraternity like nepotism, casting couch, her personal relationships and mentalities of insides. She is known as the controversial actress of B-town for voicing her opinions even on those topics where no other actor would speak about.
Yesterday, Kangana was invited to Hyderabad by the FICCI Ladies organisation as part of their theme for the year – “Reframing Women Empowerment”. And during her interaction with media, the actress was asked about Deepika’s recent issue in the press conference. She replied she extend support to the actress and it is a fundamental right of Deepika to go wherever she wants to go. “It is her democratic right. She knows what is best for her,” she said.
She added, “There are two sides to the story. It is a gang war between two student groups. Let’s not give political colour to it and make it a national issue.” However, the actress comparing JNU issue with gang wars has triggered outrage. On the other hand, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel called Deepika’s visit to JNU as a move of publicity and just a part of her film’s promotions.
