Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who got married in 2018, welcomed their daughter Duaa on September 8 last year. The celebrity couple introduced their little one to the world during last year’s Diwali celebrations. Deepika had shared that the name Duaa, which means “prayer,” was chosen because their daughter was born as an answer to their heartfelt prayers.
Recently, the couple celebrated Duaa’s first birthday in a very special yet simple way. Unlike many celebrities who go all out with grand celebrations, Deepika chose a modest, personal approach. She even baked a chocolate cake herself for her daughter. Sharing a photo of the cake on her Instagram, Deepika called it her “love language” and expressed her joy in personally preparing it for Duaa’s milestone. The post, featuring the chocolate cake on a white stand, went viral within moments. Celebrities like Kajal, Bipasha Basu, and Bhumi Pednekar also joined in to wish little Duaa in the comments.
On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Singh Is Bling Again, which starred Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, and Akshay Kumar, and released last year. Currently, she has multiple projects in the pipeline, including King, AA22XA6 (directed by Atlee and starring Allu Arjun), and Kalki 2.
