Tamil Star hero Dhanush has been roped for a remake of Veteran director Mani Ratnam’s 1988 classic “Agni Natchathiram”, which featured Karthik and Prabhu in lead roles. Bollywood’s Malayalee director Bejoy Nambiar, who made “Wazir” with Amitabh Bachchan, will be directing this movie.
As for the reports, this Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam’s “Agni Natchathiram” film was originally planned with Vicky Kaushal and Harshvardhan Rane as the two leads. But Vicky has walked out of this project due to date issues. Now, Dhanush has been roped for this role, and he will be playing the role that Karthik essayed in the original, while Harshvardhan will be playing Prabhu’s role.
