The much-awaited trailer of Dhanush’s third directorial, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) in Tamil and Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama in Telugu, was unveiled today. The film features Pavish, Priya P Varrier, Anikha Surendran, Mathew Thomas, Siddharth Shankar, and Rabiya Khatoon in key roles.
The trailer opens with Dhanush playfully stating that it’s a usual love story—only for things to take a twist! It introduces Prabhu (Pavish), who falls in love with Priya’s character, while Nila (Anikha Surendran) is preparing for her wedding to Siddharth Shankar. However, the drama unfolds when Prabhu reveals that Nila is actually his ex-girlfriend.
As past emotions resurface, both Prabhu and Nila find themselves struggling to move on, leading to a whirlwind of comedy, confusion, and chaos. The trailer teases a refreshing modern-age rom-com, packed with entertaining moments and striking visuals. The background score by GV Prakash adds an extra spark to the narrative.
Towards the end, Dhanush makes an appearance, cheerfully saying, “Jolly ga Randi. Jolly ga Vellandi.” The film also features Priyanka Mohan and Dhanush in cameo roles, alongside Sarath Kumar in a pivotal character.
