Former ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabita Indra Reddy, accused in cases related to Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s assets, have appeared in the CBI special court in Nampalli on Monday.
The two are facing charges that they went out of the way to help Vanpic and Dalmia cements and help Jagan get investments from the two companies.
The CBI court is also hearing Emaar Properties and OMC cases. It may be recalled that CBI has asked custody of the two former ministers stating that they might influence the witnesses if allowed to remain outside. The court posted the custody petition for further hearing to July 19.
