Even though Raai Laxmi’s relationship with former captain of the Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni, ended almost a decade ago, it continues to provide her free publicity, thanks to the curiosity of some media houses and the awkward (sometimes) and diplomatic (on other occasions) revelations made by the bombshell.
As Raai Laxmi is currently busy promoting her upcoming erotic Hindi film “Julie 2”, she is giving a lot of media interviews. In one particular interview, when she was asked about her link up with Dhoni a few years ago which made the headlines, she reportedly responded, “Who’s he?”.
The interviewer was probably for ready for an awkward answer but not as imbecile as ‘Who’s MS Dhoni?’. When she was reminded who he is, then she turned the ‘diplomatic’ mode ON and said that there was no point in discussing as it was a long time ago.
“Certain things don’t work out and you have to move on. He is happily married and has kids now. I do not want to talk about it in detail because I respect him a lot,” she reportedly said.
For the unknown, Raai Laxmi and Dhoni dated each other for a brief period in 2008 when the actress was the brand ambassador of the Chennai Super Kings, an IPL team which was then captained by Dhoni. When their relationship made it to headlines, they reportedly broke up, and moved on with their respective careers.
Laxmi’s “Julie 2” is gearing up to hit theatres on October 6.
