It is indeed a great honor for King Nagarjuna that another of his film will be watched by none other than President of India. His recent socio fantasy entertainer Damarukam featuring Anushka and directed by Srinivas Reddy attracted all with its visual effects.
Director sent a letter to President Pranab Mukherjee about the synopsis of the film and Prez after going thru agreed to watch the film and even gave appointment for the director. However many wonder whether Damarukam director misled Prez.
There were reports that film makers in their letter mentioned that Anushka played the role of Goddess Parvathi,while in reality she did not and only played the role of ordinary gal blessed with some powers of Goddess Parvathi,which are never highlighted in the film. Devi Sri Prasad’s melodious music in Damarukam is the highlight for the film along with Ravi Shankar’s role as protaganist.
