Recently, reports circulated that renowned producer Dil Raju had acquired the theatrical rights for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for a staggering ₹120 crore. Considering that Yash’s previous blockbuster, KGF 2, earned around ₹70 crore in the AP–Telangana region, many wondered how an experienced distributor like Dil Raju would pay nearly ₹50 crore more for Toxic.
When journalists approached Dil Raju for clarification, he stated that he would provide proof of the ₹120 crore deal to the media after transferring the amount to the producer. Observers noted that his response seemed diplomatic, as he neither directly confirmed nor denied the reported figure.
