Director Mallidi Vassishta has put an end to the speculation surrounding the casting of multiple heroines in the upcoming Telugu socio-fantasy epic Vishwambhara, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Addressing the rumors, Vassishta clarified that the presence of several female leads in the film is not for glamour or mere numbers. Instead, each heroine has been cast for a role that is crucial to the storyline. “Every character in Vishwambhara has significance. Their roles are written as part of the narrative and not just as ornamental additions,” he explained.
Set in a grand fantasy universe spanning 14 lokas (worlds), the film’s plot primarily revolves around Satya Lokam, promising a unique blend of mythology, fantasy, and visual spectacle.
The cast of Vishwambhara features leading actresses like Trisha Krishnan and Ashika Ranganath, among others. Recently, a special song featuring Chiranjeevi and Mouni Roy was shot, with Ganesh Acharya handling the choreography.
With music composed by MM Keeravani, the film is currently in production. The makers are yet to announce the official release date, but the scale and vision of Vishwambhara have already made it one of the most eagerly anticipated films in Telugu cinema.
