Suriya Plans Two Big Releases in Two Months
Tamil star Suriya is reportedly entering an exciting phase in his career, with two major film releases likely to hit theatres within a short gap of just two months. After facing a few setbacks at the box office recently, the actor is now looking to make a strong comeback with these upcoming projects.
The first film in the lineup is Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji. The makers are currently planning to release the film on May 1, although discussions regarding the final release date are still ongoing.
Interestingly, reports suggest that two leading OTT platforms have already screened the film and were quite impressed with its content. Soon after Karuppu, Suriya is expected to return with another film titled Vishwanath and Sons, directed by Venky Atluri. The project is presently scheduled for release in July 2026.
