Despite huge warnings from Hyderabad Police to not drink and drive in New Year Even, many people still dared to drive their vehicles even after boozing big time. At the checks conducted at Road No 45, Jubilee Hills after 3 am last night, a swanky BMW 5-series car with the registration ‘TS 07 EU 6666’ was stopped for the check. Driving the car is none other than popular Telugu anchor Pradeep, who refused to infuse breathe for a couple of times. Later when he is forced to do so, the breathe analyser test showed that his blood contained 178 µl of alcohol.
Generally, police seize the vehicle and take the driver to court if the alcohol limit crosses 35 range, and now that Pradeep’s test showed the number 178, as per the New Rules he’s likely to get arrested, say news reports.
After police seized his car, Pradeep immediately rushed into another vehicle, a Porsche Cayenne car, and swiftly left the place. Reports are coming that police will send a formal notice to the anchor today.
