Dulquer Salmaan, one of the most acclaimed actors in the Malayalam film industry, has also made a mark as a producer with a keen eye for successful ventures. His latest production, Lokah: Part 1 – Chandra, has become a box office hit, not only in Malayalam but also in Telugu, earning profits across regions. Remarkably, Dulquer has chosen to share the film’s profits with the entire team.
At various occasions, including a recent promotional event, Dulquer praised the team behind Lokah, highlighting their hard work and dedication. He mentioned that the film’s entire budget was utilized thoughtfully, with every penny visibly contributing to the production quality on screen.
Taking a bold step, Dulquer announced that the profits from the first part—and subsequent installments—will be shared with the cast and crew who contributed to the film’s success. Traditionally, producers retain the profits for themselves, but Dulquer is setting a new example by recognizing the collective effort of the team.
The film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role and features Naslen in a pivotal role. Lokah: Part 1 – Chandra has been released by Sithara Entertainments.
