Tall beauty Pooja Hegde is one of the busy actors in the tow. She is doing films in multiple languages. She has films in Telugu, and Hindi and there are reports that makers are in plans to rope the dusky beauty for a Kannada film and we hear about this soon once the talks give a fruitful outcome.
But the happening lady is struggling to score a hit. It’s been around a couple of years since she appeared in a hit film. She added a big hit to her filmography in the form of Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The film became a big hit at the box office.
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was released in 2020 during the Sankranti season. Now we are going to bid goodbye to the 2022 year in a few days. The actress will end this year as a disaster year and her waiting for a big hit reaches two years.
Pooja Hegde’s last outing Cirkus was also a big letdown to her. Rohit Shetty directed the film and hit machine Ranveer Singh played the lead role. However, that could not save the film from starting with a slow start.
Given the current trends, film critics are saying that Cirkus will end its theatrical run as a big flop pouring water on Pooja Hedge’s hopes to see a big hit.
After Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Pooja Hegde starred in Most Eligible Bachelor in Telugu which was a decent hit. However, it is not a big hit when compared to the hits she sees usually. She starred in five films after Most Eligible Bachelor and all the films ended as flops.
She acted in Radhe Shyam last year and failed massively. The star power of Prabhas as a Pan-India star and massive expectations could not save the film. Mega Multistarrer film Acharya also spoiled her hopes.
She paired with Ram Charan in Acharya. From day one itself, it got mixed talk and eventually, the film became a flop. Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast, Acharya, and the recent Cirkus also bombed at the box office. A couple of years were very cruel to the actress and she could not score a hit.
