Dyson has expanded its Hot+Cool air purifier lineup in India with the introduction of two new models — the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP2 De-NOx (HP12) and the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1. Designed for year-round comfort, the devices combine air purification with heating and cooling functions, while featuring Dyson’s most advanced gas-capture filtration system yet.
With air pollution levels surging across Indian cities, indoor environments are increasingly exposed to harmful pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10). Prolonged exposure to these contaminants is linked to respiratory and skin-related health issues. Dyson’s latest purifiers are engineered to address these challenges by improving indoor air quality and maintaining a controlled indoor climate.
Both models come equipped with intelligent sensors that detect and analyse airborne pollutants in real time. Users can monitor live air-quality data directly on the purifier’s LCD display or remotely via the MyDyson app, which also supports scheduling and maintenance alerts. Voice-control compatibility is available through Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri.
The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 features HEPA H13 filtration combined with activated carbon to capture allergens, ultrafine particles and odours, while maintaining Dyson’s fully sealed filtration system to prevent leakage of captured pollutants.
The more advanced HP2 De-NOx (HP12) variant introduces a new K-Carbon filter, designed to reduce NO₂ exposure — a common pollutant from gas stoves, vehicle emissions and industrial sources. The filter captures 50% more nitrogen dioxide than standard carbon filters and also helps break down formaldehyde, offering enhanced protection in urban households.
Both purifiers are powered by Dyson’s Air Multiplier technology, delivering over 290 litres of purified airflow per second with 350° oscillation, ensuring even circulation throughout the room. The dual heating and cooling feature allows the devices to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures throughout all seasons.
