Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Stylish director, Surrendra Reddy are currently making Kick-2, a sequel to their earlier blockbuster, Kick. The movie shooting is going on at brisk pace and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is producing the movie on his NTR Arts Banner. This is the first film of any other hero except Kalyan Ram himself on NTR Arts Banner.
However it is said that Kalyan Ram’s inexperience in dealing star films had cost him very much for the film. It is said that both Ravi Teja and Surrendra Reddy have taken their career best remunerations for the film and also the movie budget crossed more than Ravi Teja’s market even before the shooting is half complete.
Kalyan Ram has no scene to release the film on his own and have to sell it for a loss. It is expected that a loss no less than 15 Crore is guaranteed for the movie. 70 per cent of the film’s shooting has been completed and the makers are currently shooting the film at a special set made for the film at Rajendranagar.
Kick-2 is not exactly a sequel to Kick but the director promises that it will be more entertaining. Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead while Thaman composes the music.
