In good old days, the then leading stars like NTR, ANR, Krishna, Sobhan Babu and Krishnam Raju etc used to act in not less than 10 films every year. This means that stars used to shoot almost every day, leaving them with hardly any quality time for their families.
This trend was later continued by the next generation top stars like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. However, unlike their seniors, these stars went easy on the number of projects and tried to cater some time for their families. However, situation is completely different with the present day stars.
Realizing the importance of spending a decent time with their families, stars like Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, NTR and Allu Arjun have been going on foreign holidays frequently. Especially, Mahesh Babu is one actor who loves to roam around the world along with his kids and wife Namrata. NTR too took some time off during the shooting of Nannaku Prematho in London to spend time with his wife Pranathi and son Abhay Ram.
Even though it is a healthy trend, some stars take long holidays even while the film’s shooting is in the progress. This results in a temporary break to the shooting schedules, further leading to over expenditure for the producers. But looks like it’s family first and films next for our stars.
