Poor response to KCR’s idea of non-Congress and non-BJP front – Federal Front – seems to have forced KCR to rethink on inducting principal Opposition Congress into the Front now or later based on ideology. KCR said to have started thinking positively on having Congress on board in Federal Front since the likes of Mamata Banerjee, Karunanidhi, NCP’s Pawar and many others seem to be positive on having Congress.
Although Congress is main opposition to KCR in Telangana, KCR is now rethinking for broader perspective and wants to deal with it sensitively by not having any alliance in the state, but giving outside support nationally.
Even as TRS cadre making slogans such as ‘Desh Ka Neta KCR’ and ‘KCR Lao Desh Ko Bachao’, KCR seems to have understood the fact that it is not easy to take on ruling BJP without the support of Congress that is in Opposition in several states and is No.2 in the country.
Post KCR’s meet with Stalin in Chennai, the basic objective of KCR’s Federal Front seems to be changing. Apparently, Stalin made KCR to make certain amendments to the original blueprint he had initially prepared against Congress and BJP, both national parties. No one exactly knows what happened in Stalin’s meeting, but KCR seems to have softened his stand with regard to the Congress.
Even in his fresh interaction with Akhilesh Yadav, UP’s former CM and Rahul Gandh’s friend, ally, KCR seems to have conveyed the same to Akhilesh to take the things forward. If KCR nods for Congress, this will be certainly a major political development. Then certainly, Modi & Co should take Federal Front seriously. Let’s wait and see, what is in store.
